Description
The San Salvatore Falanghina is produced from relatively young (12 year old) vines grown between 400 and 500 feet above sea level. The grapes are pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks under temperature control in order to preserve the fresh fruit and aromatics of the Falanghina grape variety. All vineyard work is done by hand and the grapes are harvested and sorted to assure that only top quality grapes make it into the fermentation tanks for this small production of less than 1,000 cases.
