Description
The Roeno Enantio Valdadige Terradeiforti vineyards are located in northern Italy's Trentino-Alto Adige wine region. It is made from the ancient vine Enantio, indigious to the Valdadige Terradeiforti area in the north of Verona, and one of only three varietals recognized by the DOC. Hand harvested and vinified in stainless steel tanks, the wine is matured in oak barrel for 15 months. A complex bouquet of red berries, spices, and blonde tobacco fill the glass, presenting an excellent richness and complexity. The palate is filled with dark fruit, cherry and plum with a hint of exotic herbs. Full bodied with medium tannin, pair this beauty with venison or spicy, aromatic cheeses.
