Description
Roccheviberti is located within the commune of Castiglione Falletto. The winery only has 4.5 hectares of vines, growing Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto. The Roccheviberti Rocche di Castiglione comes from just 2 hectares of pure Nebbiolo, with vines averaging 30 years of age. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks before aging in French oak barrels for 2-3 years following an additional year in bottle before release. The Roccheviberti Rocche di Castiglione expresses crushed raspberry, violets, white pepper and cinnamon on the nose. A wonderful balance of elegance and power characterize the palate, drinking well today but also showing serious aging potential.
