Description
The Punta Crena Rossese Vigneto Isasco Rossese comes the Liguria DOC in the northwest Italian coast near the French border. This region is known for their crisp, character-driven whites made from Vermentino, but they also produce refreshing reds. This wine is made from the local red grape variety Rossese, a mildly aromatic grape variety with great potential. The Punta Crena Rossese Vigneto Isasco Rossese comes from a small vineyard, spanning just 1.1 hectares, with soils made of primarily red clay. The Ruffino family has been tending these vineyards for over 500 years and intend on producing wines the same way their ancestors did. This wine displays a soft bouquet of rose pedals, cinnamon and thyme. A lovely light, refreshing red wine that pairs easily with arugula pizza or caprese salad.
