Chateau Lafaurie-Peyraguey

Chateau Lafaurie-Peyraguey and its 41 hectares of vineyards date from the 13th century. In 1855 the Chateau was included in the famous classification of Premier Cru vineyards. Since 1984, the owner has been the GDF-Suez group who made major renovations to meet particular environmental standards. The planting is dominated by Semillon, with just 8% of Sauvignon and 2% Muscadelle, all meticulously hand harvested.
