A. A. Badenhorst Family Wines

In 2008 cousins Adi and Hein Badenhurst purchased the Kalmoesfontein Farm, a sixty hectare plot of land in the appellation of Swartland, South Africa. While working to create the A. A. Badenhurst Family Winery, the two cousins found an old wine cellar that had not been used since the 1930's, and have since restored it. Adi practically grew up in the wine industry as his father worked at different area wineries. Since then he has studied and worked at wineries around the world. At the A. A. Badenhurst Family Winery, wines are made in a traditional manner while practicing biological farming.
