Description
The Piero Busso Barbaresco Borgese comes from Nebbiolo vines in the Borgese cru in the village of Neive. Piero Busso owns 1.3 hectares of this famous cru on calcareous clay soils with vines ranging from 25 to 50 years old. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and aged for 18 months in large oak barrels before resting an additional six months in bottle before release. Piero Busso Barbaresco Borgese is a classic example of Barbaresco with an elegant texture, fine tannins, and aromas and flavors of red fruits and spice. Fewer than 500 cases produced.
