Description
The Mamete Prevostini Botonero is a great introduction to the wines of the Valtellina. Made from 100% Nebbiolo the grapes are crushed and left to macerate with the skins for a period of 3 to 5 days. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers where the wine remains for a period of about six months before bottling. Intended for earlier drinking, the Mamete Prevostini is a bright and fragrant young Nebbiolo which retains a softness and approachability without harsh tannins.
