Description
An Elegant, Refined Pessac-Leognan Red Wine
The Clementin de Pape Clement is the second wine from the Chateau Pape Clement in the Pessac-Leognan appellation made from a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines grow in rich soils composed of Pyrenean gravel dating back to the Pliocene era.
Clementin 2010 from Pape Clement is one of the best second wine the estate ever produced. It has a concentrated ruby color with smoked herb, blueberry, blackberry, smoke and camphor aromas. On the palate, the wine is elegant and refined with well-structured tannins. Keep until 2025.
