Description
The Latium Morini Soave comes from the hillsides of the Veneto in the northeast of Italy. The vineyards have been in the Morini family for over forty years, but the winery itself was not founded until 2000. The Latium Morini Soave is a blend of 80% Garganega and 20% Trebbiano di Soave made from 30 year old vines. Harvested at the end of September, the grapes are immediately destemmed, crushed, and fermented at cool temperatures to retain the fresh flavors of the varieties. Straw yellow in color with intense and complex notes of flowers, stone fruits and minerality, the palate reveals a balanced, consistent flavor that lasts throughout the finish. Enjoy this Soave with grilled chicken, pasta and mild cheeses.
