Château Lagrange

Château Lagrange was known in the Middle Ages as the Maison Noble de Lagrange Monteil. A history of the different owners goes back to 1631. In 1824, production was 12,000 cases.
Entirely located in the Saint-Julien appellation, the vineyard is planted in a single block on two Gunzian gravel rises oriented north-south. The gravel ranges from fine to course, and is either mixed with sand or iron-rich clay.
The vineyard is planted with red grape varieties (65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, and 7% Petit Verdot) and white grape varieties (60% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Semillon, and 10% Muscadelle)
