Chateau Haut Batailley

Grappe grise

A highly regarded, though not well-known, estate located in the Pauillac AC of Bordeaux's Médoc district. It's classified as a Cinquième Cru (fifth growth) and produces wines consistent with this rating.

The property consists of nearly 50 acres but has no château building. The wines are made by the owners of Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, who are cousins.
