Commanderie de Peyrassol 2016 : a Côtes de Provence wine with a charming and crisp palate
The Commanderie de Peyrassol is a rosé wine produced in the Côtes de Provence appellation. This vineyard benefits from vines aged 25 years on average and comes from a blend of Cinsault, Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre. After a controlled temperature fermentation in stainless steel vats with the grape varieties separated, the wine is matured also in stainless steel vats before being bottled.
At tasting, the Commanderie de Peyrassol 2016 displays a very soft pink color. Delicious and expressive, the nose develops aromas of wild berries (redcurrants, raspberries). Consistent with the nose, one can detect small red fruits on the palate - which brings a crunch and a charm - before making way for a subtle and elegant mineral touch.
