2012 Haut-Medoc from Bordeaux
Chateau Senejac 39-hectare vineyard lies on a plateau overlooking the town of Pian, in Haut-Medoc. The 2012 Chateau Senejac is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc, 29% Merlot, and 4% Petit Verdot.
The nose reveals intense, alluring fresh and fruity scents with very-well blended wood features. The palate offers full attack, with underlying aromatic freshness -very refreshing- followed by elegant and persistent tannic structure. The 2012 Chateau Senejac stands out with balance and concentration.
Wine Advocate-Parker :
This dark ruby/purple 2012 from Sénéjac exhibits a slight astringency to the tannin, but good ripeness, loads of blackcurrant fruit as well as earth, and very good depth. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.
