Chateau Lanessan 2015

From September 21st to October 9th 2015, the four grape varieties composing the blend of the 2015 Chateau Lanessan were harvested and allowed creating a good Haut-Medoc to all appearances. Indeed, it is composed of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 7% Petit Verdot. The nose expresses, with complexity and intensity, candied black fruit fragrances accompanied by spicy (pepper) and fresh liquorice notes. Freshness and elegance meet in this Chateau Lanessan. Swirling shows powder, floral and exotic wood hints. The palate offers unctuousness with a fleshy tannic structure on intense yet noble tannins. A velvety and creamy sensation wraps this elegant structure. The finish is persistent, very fruity and evolves on roasty and aromas of mild spices. This is, without a doubt, a harmonious, powerful and fine Haut-Medoc. This vintage has every asset for good ageing.
