Chateau La Tour Blanche 2015

The saying about the years in "5" as vintage of great success for the sauternes (as other appellation of the bordelais) seems to be comfirmed once more with the vintage 2015. La tour Blanche produces a vintage 2015 from 83% Sémillon, 13% Sauvignon and 4% Muscadelle, harvested between September 4th and October 29th. One can notice that the botrytis cinerea does not start officially its action before the end of September, allowing this Sauternes to pick important, rich and condensed parcels. On the nose, it is clean and forward. It first expresses subtil vanilla fragrances to which nutty (grilled hazelnut), nay stone fruit aromas are added: apricot and mango for instance. On the mouth, unctuousness and mellowness prevail, still with vibrancy, pledge of the freshness and digestibility of the wine. On the mid-palate, it is of a great richness: this wine from Château La Tour Blanche coats with pleasant savours and fruits (as apricot, guava and pineapple) the mouth. The whole gives back all the promesses of this great vintage for sweet wines, in which complexity, savour, freshness and elegance work together.
