A rising star among the bourgeois wines of Pauillac and the Médoc generally, La Fleur Peyrabon has benefited from substantial investments over the past decade. The wine is classically Pauillac in profile: concentrated black fruits, somewhat reserved and firmly structured when young. The 2005 is still in that youthfully restrained phase yet offers the excellent concentration of this top year.

Patrick Bernard and his team, led by Xavier Michelet, are with no compromise passionately committed into this estate in order to sign authentic, elegant, silky, fruit-driven wines and displaying an appealing freshness, so typical of the Cabernet Sauvignon.
