Description
The richness of a Grand Cru Classe of Saint-Emilion
In 1996, Chateau La Dominique obtained the title of Premier Grand Cru Classe B. The transformations conducted within the vineyard and a will to limit yields (25hl / ha) have shown that Chateau La Dominique was always part of the great vineyards on the Right Bank in the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation.
From oenologist Michel Rolland's services to the construction of a new futuristic winery by Jean Nouvel, Chateau La Dominique combines all the assets to produce high quality wines.
A real gastronomic wine, the Chateau La Dominique vintage 2009 reveals an intense bouquet with notes of black plum, wild strawberry and vanilla. On the palate, the ripe fruit notes intensify. Magnificent and harmonious in scale, the palate reveals the delicacy of the chocolate notes and ends with a finish imprinted with a slight sweetness.
