Ar. Pe. Pe, short for Arturo Pelizzatti Perego, is a historic estate in the rugged terrain of Valtellina in northwesten Italy, which borders Switzerland and is known for producing world-class Nebbiolo. The Arturo Pelizzatti Perego Rosso di Valtellina is pure Nebbiolo from the Grumello and Sassella zone. This rosso ferments in stainless steel vats, spends three months in oak barrels and at least three months in bottle before release. The Arturo Pelizzatti Perego Rosso di Valtellina shows a ruby red color in the glass, with an intense bouquet of forest berries, spicy cherry and earth undertones. The palate reflects the nose in wonderful harmony, and is easy to match with food. Enjoy with pasta or traditional cuisine from Valtelina.
